is an homage to ogogoro, a traditional west african spirit. ogogoro is produced in micro distillers dotting the niger-delta creek system, where the sap producing palm trees are located. the process of distillation involves tapping the sap from felled trees and fermenting the collected sap to produce palm wine. the palm wine is refined through several distillations resulting in ogogoro which is consumed during both festive and solemn occasions.
